道路電子收費的概念，早在1998年就出現，當時由新加坡第一個採用，稱為ERP，車子只要開上特定的高速公路，就要付費，目的是用來控制交通流量；而日本則是在2001年底開始實施ETC，初期普及率只有0.9%，經過政府提出優惠補助方案後，普及率現在已經高達9成，而且裝機時，不管是機上盒 還是扣款的信用卡，車主都有很多種選擇。

漏水修繕不只麻煩甚至引來買賣摩擦，根據統計2013年全北市的房產糾紛、漏水問題佔比超過1成，專家建議，多注意窗戶4邊有沒有45度角裂縫。抓漏師陳志忠：「鋼筋在綁的時候他是綁這樣十字的，變成說稍微有地震，這邊會造成龜裂穿到外面去，就會造成滲水。」

英國文化協會今天公布2012年IELTS（雅思）英語測驗平均成績，台灣台中雅思補習班考生整體表現追平韓國，但依舊落後香港。

雅思測驗在國際受到重視，常用於留學申請，或是民間企業用於評量英語能力。根據英國文化協會公布的最新數據，台灣考生拿到總平均5.9分，在鄰近國家中，落後香港（6.4分），打平韓國（5.9分），並持續領先日本（5.8分）和中國大陸（5.6分）。

值得一提的是，台灣和韓國雅思成績近年不斷呈現拉鋸，去年韓國微幅領先，今年則再度被台灣追上。兩國考生各擅勝場，韓國在聽力、閱讀略勝一籌，台灣則在寫作、口說有相對優勢。

財團法人語言訓練測驗中心昨公布102年全民英檢高級測驗狀況，1200位報名者中，僅81人取得證書，通過率不到7％。通過者中，年紀最大是54歲董希正，原本是陪兒子考，但兒子一次就考過中高級，他考高級第一年卻沒過，去年重考才過關。

全民英檢高級測驗每年僅辦一次，7、8月間考初試，通過者可在11月或12月考複試，初、複試皆通過者，始能取得證書。語測中心表示，去年高級初試有1200人報名，但僅400人進入複試，最後取得證書者僅81人。台中全民英檢補習班
